Fluid flow loss calculations for a novel domestic heating system
A short task to support a local Industrial Design company by performing some fluid flow hand calculations. The tool that was generated as an output enabled the designer to do some quick “what-if” analyses on his new design concepts.
In the detail stages of a design project it it is very often necessary to use a CAE tools for simulation. However, very early-on in the design process is often quicker and more efficient to do use traditional “hand” calculations to help validate a concept.
