Thermal management of new DIN rail mounted motor drive controller
Thermal analysis of an electronic controller housed in a plastic enclosure using SolidWorks Simulation CFD tools.
Design of enclosure was constrained to fall in-line with client’s existing product portfolio. Recommendations made to improve the cooling performance by changes to PCBA component placement and to the mechanical design of the enclosure to improve internal air flow and heat transfer by conduction.
